falling from planes and stalking celebs

Saturday June 18th, was my boyfriend Nick's 26th birthday. He is too smart for his own good sometimes so I like to try to take on the challenge of surprising him. I was able to keep him from guessing what the surprise was until we were an hour away from the anticipated event: skydiving.

After the excitement of free falling toward the ground - we weren't sure if anything could compare. We headed to Ann Arbor for a late dinner and some drinks to unwind and gush about our shared experience. Around 11:00 we decided, what the hell, we are already out - let's keep celebrating! And I am so glad we did! As we approached the bar (Bab's) I did a quick double take and a smooth "SHUT UP!!" directed at Jason Segel. "I'm a huge fan" I said, and bolted. As we were leaving the bar - who do we encounter in the stairwell? John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Alison Brie and our old pal Jason. They were in a rush to escape the bar - but we some how managed to squeeze in a few words, a handshake and a photo.

And the fun didn't stop there. We randomly, not stalkerishly, ended up going to the same bar as the celebs for round two (Circus). There, we were witnesses to crowd-gathering karaoke performances from the stars. Pretty bad ass night! And I got the surprise I wanted for Nick - though unplanned - it was still amazing.
